PODIUM AT BRANDS HATCH!
A fantastic weekend for Scott Kelly - the young Comber man took his first podium of the season at Brands Hatch today 01 June 08. Leading most of the way in the Thundersport GB1 Race Scottie had to settle for second spot but wasn't complaining.
Having been plagued with various mechanical problems all season it looks like he has finally turned that corner and Scottie roared onto lift his first podium of the season and vital points however that was not the end of the story he was also presented with the trophy for 'Most Improved Rider'. He was then interviewed for Television and you will be able to see Scottie in action and interviewed on Men & Motors later in June...WELL DONE SCOTTIE!

DISAPPOINTING START FOR SCOTTIE

BUT ANOTHER SPONSORSHIP WEIGHS IN!
Scott travelled to Mallory Park this week to particpate in his first Superbike British Thundersport of the the season, after finishing a great 11th place in the qualifying practice round, unfortunately due to mechanical problems it turned out to be a disappointing start for Scottie in the actual race when he had to retire from the event. The teething problems have made the Co.Down teenager even more determined that things will run much more smoothly at the ISB forthcoming Easter Monday spectacular at Kirkistown racetrack in a weeks time...However, AKR Promotions announced this week that another local business has put their name on Scottie's leathers - BANGOR FUELS has now backed the teenager in another sponsorship... STORMY WEATHER!
Kelly weathered the storms - literally to evetually get out to testing at Kirkistown on Sunday 2.3.08, having missed Saturday's test day due to delays in travel from the mainland at Mallory Pk. The up-and-coming teenager who is grabbing a lot of attention at the moment was caught between a photo shoot and testing his Hondas pictured right by Roy Adams Mid Antrim Media...
